Day 155: Guest Post – Roof Bathtub

From time to time you find wood that can be reused. Today we have a bathtub paneling from Christian.

Christian says: “After careful consideration about how I can bring some warmth in my pretty coolish bathroom, I had the idea to cover the bathtub in wood. The range of new wood was either expensive or (if cheap enough) not very beautiful. The wood I chose came from a recycling workshop and was originally obstructed under a barn roof. It’s 50 years old and the patina is very nice. I planed it, covered the surface with wood oil for flooring and screwed it together with OSB-plates. Now I have a removable bathtub paneling.”

Wow, das sieht total einladend aus und gibt dem Bad ganz bestimmt etwas Gemütlichkeit. Super Idee!
